Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Position Descriptions

Set-Up – 6:00 am – 9:00 am 

5 people needed

Assist in the set-up of tables, booths, signage, banners, water stations and other equipment and supplies for the walk course,

the Vendor tables, registration and volunteer check-in areas. Should be able to lift 50 lbs.

Registration Day-Of – 8:00 -11:00 am

9 people needed

Assist with Walk 4 Alzheimer’s participant check-in, signing of waivers, accept donations. Should be comfortable working with people and money.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Parking Monitors – 7:00 am – 10:00 am 

2 people needed

Helps to organize parking upon arrival.

Walk Monitors -10:00 am – 1:00 pm

3 people needed

Guide and direct walkers, keep area free of hazards, keep route clean, and cheer on walkers.

Clean-Up – 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

10 people needed

Help to assist with breakdown of chairs, tables, table covers, booths, signage, balloon arch, pick up garbage, etc.

Floaters (2 Shifts) 9:00 am – 12:00 pm & 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

3 for each shift, 6 people total needed

Float around to make sure vendors are taken care of, take care of anything needed, trash pick up.
