Make a Difference as a Volunteer with AlzNet

Are you passionate about supporting individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s? Join the Alzheimer’s Network of Oregon (AlzNet) as a Memory Café volunteer! Volunteers are the heart of our programs, helping to create a welcoming, engaging, and supportive environment for all participants.

As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Provide companionship and support to program participants.

  • Assist with activities and events, including icebreakers, crafts, and games.

  • Help with food/snack distribution and event setup and cleanup.

  • Bring joy to participants by joining in the activities and making them feel valued.

  • Offer your unique skills or expertise to enhance AlzNet’s impact.

Volunteer Requirements

We ask that all volunteers commit to attending regularly and are willing to undergo a background check. Whether you’re assisting at our Salem Center 50+ or Keizer St. Eds locations—or both—your time and effort make a meaningful difference.
